Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern your use of Divotery, an online marketplace that connects golf players with independent coaches for in-person lessons. By using Divotery you agree to these terms.
1. The service
Divotery provides a platform where players can discover coaches, book lessons and pay online. Divotery is not the provider of the lessons themselves — coaches are independent professionals responsible for the lessons they deliver.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You must be old enough to enter into a binding contract in your country of residence.
3. Bookings & payments
When you book a lesson, you authorise Divotery's payment processor to charge you the amount shown. Funds are held until the lesson is confirmed as completed, at which point the coach's share is paid out and Divotery retains its commission.
4. Cancellations & refunds
Lessons may be cancelled up to 36 hours before the scheduled start for a full refund. Later cancellations, no-shows and disputes are handled case by case in line with our support policy.
5. Coach obligations
Coaches are responsible for holding any qualifications, insurance and permissions required to teach in their jurisdiction, and for delivering lessons as described in their listings.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the platform, circumvent its payment system, or use it for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms.
7. Liability
Divotery provides the platform "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for the conduct of coaches or players or for the outcome of any lesson booked through the platform.
